Advisor Succession Platform
Succession: Why Choose Paralife?
Choosing a successor is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make. You need to know your clients will be cared for with the same attention you have given them, and that the relationships you spent years building will be honored, not absorbed and forgotten. Paralife takes the stress out of that transition.
For over 27 years, we have served clients with strategies that evolve with their needs throughout retirement. Our advisors and support staff care about each client’s goals, and we work as a team to tailor every strategy to the person in front of us.
When you choose Paralife, your clients become our clients, and like every Paralife client, they become part of the Paralife family. We treat them that way: with patience, real conversations, and the kind of attention that keeps families with us for generations. We take that responsibility very seriously.
No Cookie-Cutter Approach
We do not use a cookie-cutter evaluation process, and we do not use a cookie-cutter process for anything else. Every business is built differently, so every succession plan we build is different too. We shape our approach around your client base, your service model, your team, your market, and your personal goals and timeline. Each business needs its own kind of continuity, and it has to match the way you have always served your clients. Our aim is not just to maintain the relationships and service your clients count on. We want to improve them.
Communication Comes First
Selling your company can be unsettling for your clients. They wonder who will answer the phone, whether their plan will change, and whether anyone will know their story. We address those concerns before they grow, and we do it through communication.
The Paralife brand is built on communication. We are in touch with our clients several times a month through email, voicemail, and client-only education events, often with guest speakers on topics like cybersecurity, tax strategies, and elder protection. Your clients will not wonder what is happening. They will hear from us early, meet the people who will serve them, and understand what stays the same. We ensure that your clients won’t have to go through major changes and ensure that the service they have received will remain at the highest level.
We also know that every market is different. We adapt the transition to your community and your clients, moving at a pace and in a style that feels comfortable and familiar to them.
Meet Your Clients Where They Are
To make both parties feel more comfortable, once we both agree there is a strong fit, we will work with you and your team to coordinate a client-only event where one of our partners delivers a keynote educational presentation. It might be drawn from one of our books or television segments, or simply 45 minutes on the current economic and retirement environment and what it means for people already retired.
This presentation is confidential and comes with no strings attached. There are no announcements, no introductions of a new partner, and nothing that hints at your objectives. Your clients experience it as what it is: an educational event you brought to them. You decide how much or how little to share with your staff, and nothing changes in your clients’ eyes until you are ready for it to.
What it gives both of us is comfort before any commitment. You get to see how your clients respond to our messaging and our people. We get to see how you and your team interact with your clients, which tells us more about the strength of those relationships than any spreadsheet can. We deliver it at our expense. All we ask is that you help us fill the room.
Understanding the Risk You Are Taking
Handing your clients to another company and trusting they will be served the way you served them is the single largest risk in any sale. We understand that risk, because we have spent more than 27 years in the retirement and senior market and we know exactly how much care it demands.
This market is not like others. Compliance expectations are higher, suitability and documentation standards are stricter, and the conversations themselves require patience, especially as a client’s health, memory, or family situation changes. Adult children frequently step into the picture with questions of their own, sometimes years after a decision was made. None of that surprises us. It is the environment we work in every day.
Our goal is to protect you. We work to prevent client issues, complaints, and family concerns before they happen rather than react to them afterward, through disciplined documentation, careful suitability review, family involvement when a client wants it, and a service team trained to recognize when something needs attention. Over the years we have learned this is one of the most overlooked pieces of a succession plan. Owners think carefully about valuation and deal structure, then hand their clients to a partner with no real answer for how relationships and compliance will be managed after closing. Our process was built around that answer, because your name stays on that work long after the transaction is done.
Your Next Chapter, With Confidence
We handle the heavy lifting of the transition so you do not have to. Our team manages the details, the paperwork, and client communication alongside you, with a clear plan every step of the way. The result is a handoff that feels like a natural continuation, not a change in ownership.
You have earned the right to step fully into your own retirement without checking your phone for client questions or wondering whether service slipped after you left. Our goal is for you to move forward with confidence and comfort, knowing your clients are in hands as good as or better than before.
You have put everything into building [Your Company Name], and your successor should value that. Our experts will make sure you receive full value for your business, your team is treated with respect, and your clients land exactly where they belong.
